| How You Can Support the Tenzin Gyatso Scholars Program |

To run the Tenzin Gyatso Scholars Program each year we are looking at an average amount of $295,000 per year.
Grants and donations will enable the scholars to travel from their monasteries in India and Nepal or their posts in the Unites States first to the Tenzin Gyatso Institute for a six-week orientation program, and then to their respective campuses.
Funds raised will cover travel expenses to and within the United States and back to their points of origin; room and board for a full academic year; and incidental expenses for the scholars.
Additionally, scholars who start with the broader curriculum at another university may wish to conclude their program by deepening their knowledge in the sciences at Emory.
We need your support to keep this program running for 2011 and 2012.
